ILT20 2025 will kick off on January 11.

The International League T20 (ILT20) is set to return for its third season, which will kick off on Saturday, January 11. A total of six teams will compete in the tournament: MI Emirates, Dubai Capitals, Abu Dhabi Knight Riders, Desert Vipers, Gulf Giants, and Sharjah Warriorz.

The competition will follow a round-robin format, followed by the playoffs. Each team will face every other team twice, with the top four teams advancing to the playoffs.

The playoffs stage consists of Qualifier 1 (1st vs 2nd, winner goes directly to the final), Eliminator (3rd vs 4th, loser is eliminated), Qualifier 2 (loser of Qualifier 1 vs winner of Eliminator, winner qualifies for the final), and the final, which is slated for February 9.

The opening game of ILT20 2025 will feature defending champions MI Emirates and Dubai Capitals at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. The competition will be hosted across three venues: Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah Cricket Stadium.

In the last ILT20 edition, MI Emirates, Gulf Giants, Abu Dhabi Knight Riders, and Dubai Capitals reached the knockout stage. MI Emirates emerged as the winners by defeating Dubai Capitals by 45 runs in the final.

James Vince finished the season as the leading run-scorer with 356 runs in 12 games, followed closely by Nicholas Pooran, who scored 354 runs in 10 games. Fazal Farooqui and Waqar Salamkheil topped the wicket-taking chart with 17 wickets each.
