Jasprit Bumrah has become the first Indian pacer to play at 50 matches each in ODIs, T20Is and tests.

Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah scripted history as the second test between Indian Cricket Team and West Indies Cricket Team got underway at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Friday, October 10 . The right-arm pacer is playing his 50th test match, which will be a series-decider.

Indian captain Shubman Gill won the toss and opted to bat first. The hosts lost KL Rahul cheaply in the first session for 38 runs, however, Yashasvi Jaiswal scored a marvellous century in the second session. Sai Sudharsan gave him brilliant support with his fifty, helping the team to cross 200 runs on the scoreboard.

During the toss, Gill revealed that they have opted for a same playing XI as the last game. Hence, Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj will lead India’s pace attack in the clash. Both of them were highly successful in the opening game, helping the team to bundle the West Indies for a low total in the first innings. While Siraj picked a four-wicket haul, Bumrah clinched three scalps.
