IND vs AUS: Jasprit Bumrah rested for 2nd ODI; Replacement announced by BCCI

Jasprit Bumrah rested for 2nd ODI vs AUS at Holkar Stadium in Indore.
Team India are hosting Australia in the three-match ODI series, which started on Friday. The first ODI saw a five-wicket thrashing at the PCA Stadium in Mohali. India registered a win and checked all the boxes during the first game. The two teams will now face each other in the second ODI on Sunday. This game will take place at the Holkar Stadium in Indore.
This will be a great chance for India to win the series after winning the second ODI. It will give the team a lot of confidence as India are playing without their key players. Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have been rested for the first two games. Hardik Pandya and Kuldeep Yadav are also not part of the squad, while Mohammed Siraj didn't play the first game.
IND vs AUS: Mukesh Kumar to replace Jasprit Bumrah in 2nd ODI vs AUS in Indore
The second ODI will start at 1:30 p.m. However, just ahead of the second game, India gave a massive update as ace pacer Jasprit Bumrah has been rested for the second game in Indore. BCCI posted the update as Bumrah has left the team to meet his family and has been given a break from the second ODI. He is replaced by Mukesh Kumar for the second game.
BCCI posted, "Mr. Jasprit Bumrah did not travel with the team to Indore for the 2nd ODI against Australia. He has gone to visit his family and has been given a short break by the team management. Fast bowler Mukesh Kumar has joined the team as Bumrah's replacement for the 2nd ODI. Bumrah will join the team for the final ODI in Rajkot."
Notably, Bumrah recently became a father as his wife, Sanjana Ganesan, gave birth to a baby boy. He didn't travel with the team for the 2nd ODI against Australia and went to meet his family. Jasprit Bumrah looked good in the first game and started with two consecutive maidens. He ended up taking 1/44 in his ten overs and was India's most economical bowler. Bumrah bowling ten overs is a great sign for India going forward. He will be joining the team for the third game on September 27.
