Travis Head blasted a century on day 2 of the second IND vs AUS test in Adelaide.
Australia have the Adelaide test firmly in their grasp by the end of day 2. The hosts are once again bossing the day-night test match in Adelaide, and look set to make it eight wins out of eight pink ball tests at this venue on day 3 of this match.
India started the day well with Bumrah striking twice but lost control soon after as Travis Head counter-attacked. While Marnus Labuschagne returned to form with a half-century, it was Head who provided the killing blow to Team India by blasting a 111-ball century.
He got out for 140 runs off 141 balls, his knock including 17 fours and four sixes. Australia ended their first innings with a big lead of 157 runs.
India’s performance in their second innings was at par with their first innings display as they lost five wickets for 128 runs by the end of play on day 2. They still trail by 29 runs and would need a miraculous partnership to win this match.
