India will take on Australia in fourth game of the T20I series on Friday in Raipur.

Team India won the first two games of the five-match T20I series against Australia in a brilliant manner to take a 2-0 lead. But they couldn’t defend a high score in the third match and suffered a defeat. The batting unit did an amazing job in all three matches, but the bowling has been under par. However, they are still ahead in the series.

India have a great chance to seal the series, as Australia will be without some of their key players. The fourth match will be played on Friday at the Shaheed Narayan Singh Stadium in Raipur. India will enter the game as favorites. In this article, we will talk about the predicted playing XI for India on Friday.

IND vs AUS: India’s Predicted playing XI vs Australia

1. Ruturaj Gaikwad:

Ruturaj Gaikwad probably played the best T20I innings by an Indian batter in the third game. He was unstoppable, but unfortunately, it ended in a losing cause. He made 123* off 57, with 13 fours and 7 sixes. He will be looking to do something similar and play another big innings to help India win.

2. Yashasvi Jaiswal :

Yashasvi Jaiswal missed out in the last game and got out cheaply while playing a big shot. But he will have it in his mind and will look to do well in the coming game. One thing is certain: if Jasiwal stays for the first 7-8 overs, the run scoring will be pretty fast. The left-hander will be a big wicket at the top.

3. Ishan Kishan :

Ishan Kishan had a pretty bad day in the third game with both the bat and the gloves. The Southpaw got out for a duck and had a poor moment with the gloves in the 19th over of second innings, which was called no ball. But he has already scored two half-centuries in the series and is the man in form. He will be looking to make the most of it and cover up the mess of the last match.

4. Shreyas Iyer :

Shreyas Iyer will be back in the side and will be in the playing XI right away, replacing Tilak Varma. He bats at No. 4 and will play in his usual position. He was in great form in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 and will look to carry on the momentum and help India beat Australia in the coming game. His presence will strengthen the batting attack.

5. Suryakumar Yadav (C) :

Suryakumar Yadav has been scoring runs in the ongoing series. Even in the last game, he played an important knock of 39 off 29 and played his trademark shots. SKY is the backbone of the Indian middle order, and as a skipper, he will look to take India to victory. Australia will hope to contain him, or else India will have an upper hand.

6. Rinku Singh :

Rinku Singh is doing nothing wrong at the moment and is in red-hot form. He is a dynamic batter who can change the game in a span of a few balls, which is what he has shown so far. He is scoring runs at a strike rate of over 200 and will be the one to watch out for.

7. Axar Patel :

Apart from the last over, which went for 22 runs, Axar Patel had a pretty decent performance in the third game. The all-rounder is a vital player in the side in both departments. But so far, he has done well with the bowl and contained runs, which has helped other bowlers take wickets. That will be his role in the coming game.

8. Ravi Bishnoi :

Ravi Bishnoi has been exceptional in this series and has taken the most wickets. He has taken 6 wickets in three matches at an average of 19.67. The leg-spinner is the game-changer in the middle overs, and Australians have found him difficult to score runs off. A lot will depend on how he performs in the middle overs for India.

9. Arshdeep Singh :

Arshdeep Singh hasn’t been at his best, but he can get into his rhythm with one good spell. The left-arm pacer relies a lot on swing with the new ball and yorkers at the death. That’s what makes him a difficult bowler to face. He will be challenging for Australia, and if he can take a few early wickets, he can give India an edge.

10. Mukesh Kumar :

Mukesh Kumar skipped the third game because of his marriage, but he will be back at business. However, India definitely missed him with his death bowling in the game, and Prasidh Krishan went for plenty. Mukesh has been pretty good with his wide yorkers and could have made a difference. But he will be looking to do well on his return.

11. Avesh Khan :

Avesh Khan bowled some good overs in the last game and will be back to play on Friday. He is a nippy bowler who can bowl at a good pace and can rattle the batters. He dismissed the dangerous Travis Head in the last game. India will hope that he can provide some breakthroughs in the powerplay, which can give India a chance to put pressure on Australia.
