IND vs AUS: India’s Predicted playing XI vs Australia
1. Ruturaj Gaikwad :
Ruturaj Gaikwad is the leading run-scorer in the series and has had good starts. In the third game, he showed his full potential and smashed his maiden century and registered the highest individual T20I score against Australia. So far, Gaikwad has made 213 runs and will be eyeing a way to end the series on a high. Team India will want him to give a good start in the final game.
2. Yashasvi Jaiswal :
Yashasvi Jaiswal has been superb at what he has done so far. He is playing in one way, which is to just go after the bowling. The left-hander is playing freely, which is exciting to see. He has so far scored 117 runs at a strike rate of 174.63 and will be looking to play another impactful innings to end the series.
3. Shreyas Iyer :
Shreyas Iyer made his comeback in the side but couldn’t get going. However, he will be looking to have some runs under his belt before flying to South Africa. Iyer is part of all three formats for the South Africa tour, and some runs in the final T20I will feel good. Hence, we might see a different approach from him, and he will be looking to play a good innings.
4. Suryakumar Yadav :
Suryakumar Yadav couldn’t get going in the fourth game and got out for one run. But he is too good of a player to miss out on consecutive games. Hence, we might see him with all guns blazing in the final game. With the series already in his pocket, SKY can play more freely and continue his natural game.
5. Rinku Singh :
Not just as a finisher, Rinku Singh also showed that he can also bat according to the situation. His 29-ball 46 helped India reach the challenging total in the fourth T20I, which proved to be a winning one. Indian fans want more of him, and the way he is batting at the moment, he will be the game-changer for India on Sunday.
6. Jitesh Sharma (wk) :
Not just Rinku, but Jitesh Sharma also made a big impact when India were struggling with some quick wickets. The keeper batter replaced in-form Ishan Kishan and repaid the faith of the management. He played a brilliant inning of 35 off 19 deliveries and added a crucial partnership along with Rinku for the fifth wicket. Jitesh will look to do something similar and do well in the final game.
7. Axar Patel :
Axar Patel was the man who took the game away from the visitors. His brilliant spell of 3/16 turned the game in India’s favor. The all-rounder bounced back pretty well after his bad performance in the third game. Axar won the MOTM award. He will be keen to continue and provide India with the breakthrough in the middle overs, and he will be a hard bowler to score runs off.
8. Deepak Chahar :
Deepak Chahar started badly with the ball when Travis Head took him apart, but then he bowled pretty well in the final two overs to take two important wickets. Chahar used his experience and bowled cutters to dismiss the batters on short ball. It will be another chance for him to do well and help the team win.
9. Ravi Bishnoi :
Ravi Bishnoi is the leading wicket-taker in the ongoing series. He has taken seven wickets at an economy rate of 8.44. He gave India the first breakthrough in the last game and took 1/17, which made a big difference. The Australians were finding it hard to pick his variations, which will be the biggest challenge in the final game for the visitors.
10. Avesh Khan :
Avesh Khan bowled pretty well for his spell of 1/33 when Australian batters were going hard for the runs in the fourth T20I. He bowled in the right channel and kept hitting the deck hard. Avesh is a rhythm bowler, and if he starts bowling well, he can be pretty dangerous to face. That’s what the team will want from him on Sunday.
11. Mukesh Kumar :
Mukesh Kumar is one of the three players who have been selected for all three formats on the South Africa tour. Thus, the final game is pretty important for him to do well. He has picked up only one wicket so far, but he has looked good in patches. Mukesh will be looking to end the series well and add some wickets to his tally.
