IND vs AUS: Most runs, most wickets after 2nd test, Adelaide, BGT 2024-25

Australia won the second IND vs AUS test in Adelaide by 10 wickets.
Australian Cricket Team made an emphatic comeback in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy (BGT) 2024-25 by defeating India by 10 wickets in the second test match of the five-match test series. This victory extended Australia’s unbeaten streak in the day-night tests at the venue.
After winning the toss and opting to bat first, India suffered a batting collapse, getting bundled out for just 180 runs. Mitchell Starc starred for the hosts taking six wickets in the first innings. Travis Head led Australia’s reply, scoring a blistering 140 off 141 balls to hand Australia a 157-run lead.
India’s batting performance in the second innings was no better as they again crumbled against the Aussie pace attack, getting bowled out for just 175 runs. Nitish Reddy continued his good form in the series scoring 84 runs across the game.
Australia cruised past the small 19-run target with ease, sealing the game with a 10-wicket victory. With the five-match series locked at 1-1, the action now shifts to the Gabba for the crucial third test.
IND vs AUS 2024: Most Runs
On the back of his brilliant hundred in the first innings, Travis Head now leads the runs chart with 240 runs. Following him on this list is star Indian opener Yashasvi Jaiswal with 185 runs in the series. Jaiswal struggled against the pink ball scoring 24 runs across the game.
Nitish Kumar Reddy’s gritty 84 runs in the game propelled him to the third spot with 163 runs in the test, while Indian batters KL Rahul and Virat Kohli follow him with 147 and 123 runs respectively.

Star Indian speedster, Jasprit Bumrah tops the wicket-takers leaderboard with 12 wickets, thanks to his brilliant four-wicket haul in the first innings of the game. Following him on this list in the second position is Australian speedster Mitchell Starc, with 11 wickets in the series.
Starc’s partner Pat Cummins occupies the third spot with 10 wickets in the series while Mohammed Siraj and Josh Hazlewood round off the list with nine and five wickets respectively.
