IND vs BAN: 5 bowlers you must have in your Dream11 team for test series
The IND vs BAN test series will start on September 19 at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai.
After a break of more than a month, Team India will get back to action when they host Bangladesh for two test matches, starting on September 19 in Chennai. The Green Park in Kanpur will host the second test from September 27.
India have not lost a test series at home since 2013, and they will want to extend that record. Bangladesh are coming off a memorable series win over Pakistan. So, India can’t take them lightly.
Both teams have some highly skilled bowlers, especially spinners who will make the lives difficult for the batters.
In this article, we will talk about the five bowlers whom you should have in your Dream11 team during the IND vs BAN test series.
Here are the five bowlers you must have in your Dream11 team during the IND vs BAN test series:
5. Hasan Mahmud
Hasan Mahmud was one of the reasons behind Bangladesh managing to get results in their favour on the flat pitch in Rawalpindi against Pakistan. He bowled with pace and with tight lines and lengths. He was the second-highest wicket-taker for Bangladesh in the series.
Hasan took eight wickets in two games at an average of 24.12 with a best of 5/43. He outperformed experienced pacers like Taskin and Shoriful and forced everyone to take notice of him.
4. Jasprit Bumrah
The pitches for the IND vs BAN test series are likely to be spin-friendly, but Jasprit Bumrah doesn’t need much help from the pitch to take wickets. The spearhead is arguably the best all-format bowler in the world at the moment.
You can’t leave him out of your Dream11 team during the IND vs BAN series. He was one of the point of differences during the test series win against England at home earlier this year.
3. Mehidy Hasan Miraz
Mehidy Hasan Miraz was superb against Pakistan with both bat and ball and duly won the Player of the Series award for his all-round performance. He ended up taking the most wickets (10) in the series, in addition to hitting two fifties with the bat.
His probing lines and speed variations make him difficult to handle. On the Indian pitches, he can be lethal with the red ball. He fits the bill to be vice-captain on fantasy cricket platforms.
2. Ravindra Jadeja
The No. 1 ranked ICC test all-rounder and No. 7 ranked ICC test bowler, Ravindra Jadeja, will be a must-have pick in your Dream11 teams. His all-round skills make him an asset to any side.
Jadeja has always been effective on Indian pitches. He bowls fast, and his odd ball turns, which creates doubt in the batter’s mind. With his performances in tests, he should be a certainty in your Dream11 team; you can even make him your captain.
1. Ravichandran Ashwin
Ravichandran Ashwin should be the first bowler to choose for your Dream11 team during the IND vs BAN test series. The veteran off-spinner is the No. 1 ranked ICC test bowler, and his consistency is the prime reason for his position at the top.
Ashwin, with his various variations, will be a big hurdle for Bangladesh. Given his success in Indian conditions, he is likely to finish among the top three wicket-takers in the upcoming series. You can pick him as your Dream11 team captain.
