IND vs ENG 2024: Most runs, most wickets after 2nd test, Visakhapatnam
The five-match IND vs ENG test series is leveled 1-1 after completion of the second match.
After winning the second test against England at the Dr. YSR ACA-VDCA International Cricket Stadium in Vishakapatnam by 106 runs, India have equaled the five-match series 1-1. Both sides will be travelling to Rajkot for the third test match, which will start on 15 February. England won the first test at Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad by a close margin of 28 runs.
Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shubman Gill shined with bat, while Jasprit Bumrah shined with the ball to guide India to a convincing victory in the Vishakapatnam test. Jaiswal hit his maiden test double-century, while Gill scored a century in the second innings. Jasprit Bumrah took a 6-fer in the first innings of the match and added three more in the second innings to help India level the series 1-1.
After Rajkot, Ranchi and Dharamsala will host fourth and fifth matches of the test series.
IND vs ENG 2024: Most runs
Indian opener Yashasvi Jaiswal played a match-defining knock in the first innings and notched up a double-century when no other Indian batter could cross even 35. Jaiswal currently leads the run-scorers list of the IND vs ENG 2024 test series with 321 runs in four innings. England top-order batter Ollie Pope, who hit 196 in the Hyderabad test’s second innings, is second in the list with 243 runs in four innings.
England opener Zak Crawley is third with 200 runs to his name in four innings. Shubman Gill, who notched up his first test ton at No. 3 for India, is at third spot with 161 runs to his name. England captain Ben Stokes, who has so far hit 134 runs stands at fifth spot.

Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah has had a terrific series so far and picked up 15 scalps in two matches. Jasprit Bumrah currently leads the top wicket-takers chart in the ongoing IND vs ENG five-match test series. Bumrah picked up nine wickets in the recently concluded Vishakapatnam test with a 6-fer in the first innings and three more in the second.
England left-arm spinner Tom Hartley is second in the list with 14 wickets in two games. Indian off-spinner Ravi Ashwin comes next with nine scalps to his name in two matches. England leg-spinner Rehan Ahmed is fourth in the list with eight wickets to his name. 42-year-old England veteran pacer James Anderson completes the list with five wickets to his name in one match.
