The second IND vs ENG test will commence on July 2 at Edgbaston, Birmingham.

Indian Cricket Team and England Cricket Team are pulling their socks up for the second test, which will commence on July 2 at Edgbaston, Birmingham. The hosts have not made any changes to their playing XI for the next game of the five-match test series for the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy.

The Ben Stokes & Co. won the first test at Headingley by five wickets. Although their bowling unit failed to dominate the visitors, they managed to pull off a victory with a magnificent batting show. India piled up 471/10 and 364/10 in both innings, with four of their batsmen hitting centuries in the match.

For England, Ollie Pope slammed a crucial century in the first innings. Ben Duckett scored a match-winning knock of 149 runs in the second innings to help England chase down the 371-run target. While England’s batting department looks balanced, their bowlers need to buckle up and deliver a better show in the next game.

Talking about Shubman Gill & Co., they will aim to script history at Edgbaston in the second test by winning the first-ever test at the venue. Notably, India have never won a test match at Edgbaston in the past, losing seven games out of eight encounters. One match ended in a draw.

India are highly likely to retain their batting unit in the second test, however, they might go ahead with some changes in the bowling department.
