IND vs ENG 2025: Most runs, most wickets after 3rd ODI, Ahmedabad

India won the IND vs ENG 3rd ODI in Ahmedabad by 142 runs.

On Wednesday, India defeated England by 142 runs in the third ODI in Ahmedabad to complete a 3-0 series whitewash.

Despite losing Rohit Sharma early, India got off to a strong start, scoring 129 runs in the first 20 overs. Shubman Gill starred for the hosts scoring 112 runs off 102 balls, including 14 fours and three sixes.

The Indian opener received solid support from Virat Kohli and Shreyas Iyer, who both hit half-centuries. KL Rahul, after struggling in the first two ODIs, looked in good touch and made 40 runs off 29 balls to take India to 356. Adil Rashid emerged as England’s best bowler, taking 4/64 in 10 overs.

In the run chase, it was a familiar story for England. Despite a strong 60-run opening stand, they slipped to 154/5 after 25 overs.

Several top-order batsmen got starts but couldn’t convert them into big scores and England were bowled out 214. Four Indian bowlers took two wickets each.

IND vs ENG: Most runs

Thanks to his excellent century in the third ODI, Shubman Gill finished as the leading run-scorer of the series with 259 runs. Shreyas Iyer’s consistent performances put him in the second spot with 181 runs in.

Ben Duckett was England’s top scorer in the series with 131 runs in three games. Rohit Sharma and Joe Root finished third and fourth with 122 and 112 runs, respectively.

Adil Rashid finished as the highest wicket-taker of the series with seven wickets, surpassing Ravindra Jadeja, who missed the last game and had six wickets in two matches.

Playing his debut ODI series, Harshit Rana impressed with six wickets, finishing third on the leaderboard. Axar Patel and Saqib Mahmood round off the list with three wickets each.
