IND vs ENG 2025: Most runs, most wickets after 5th T20I, Mumbai

India won the IND vs ENG 5th T20I in Mumbai by 150 runs.

On Sunday, India registered a 150-run victory over England in the fifth T20I in Mumbai to win the five-match T20I series by 4-1.

Batting first, India delivered a thunderous performance on the batting-friendly Wankhede pitch. Despite losing Sanju Samson early, the Men in Blue scored 95 runs in the powerplay – their highest in powerplays in T20I cricket.

Abhishek Sharma top-scored with his second T20I century, making 135 runs off 54 balls, including 13 sixes. The southpaw was well supported by Shivam Dube and Tilak Varma, who contributed 30 and 24 runs, respectively to propel India to 247 runs.

In the chase, England got off to a poor start, slipping to 68/4 in 6.1 overs. Mohammed Shami took his first international wicket since November 2023, removing Ben Duckett for a duck. Phil Salt was the top scorer for the visitors, making 55 runs off 22 balls with three sixes.

Spinners Varun Chakravarthy, Ravi Bishnoi and Abhishek Sharma led the way, taking five wickets between them to secure a commanding 150-run win for India.

Thanks to his 135-run knock in Mumbai, Abhishek Sharma finished the series as the top run-scorer with 279 runs. England captain Jos Buttler secured the second spot with 146 runs.

Tilak Varma finished at the third spot with 133 runs. Hardik Pandya and Ben Duckett round off this list with 112 and 97 runs respectively.

Axar Patel rounds the list with six wickets to his name.
