Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja scored 112 runs in the first innings against England in the Rajkot test.
After missing the Visakhapatnam test match of the ongoing five-match series against the English side due to hamstring injury, veteran Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja came out gun blazing in the ongoing crucial third test match at the Niranjan Shah Stadium in Rajkot, which started on February 15, Thursday.
After winning the toss and opting to bat, India were rocked back by the visitors and were reduced 33/3, with Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shubman Gill, and Rajat Patidar getting dismissed cheaply on the first session of day 1.
Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, who came to bat at No. 5 with India having just scored 33/3 in 8.5 overs, stitched up a valuable partnership of 204 runs with Indian skipper Rohit Sharma, who also notched up a brilliant century in the first innings.
In the last session of day 1, Jadeja got to his fourth test hundred. During his stay at the crease, Jadeja hammered 112 runs off 225 balls, including nine fours and two sixes. His stunning knock eventually helped India reach 445 runs in the first innings.

1. Third Indian to achieve double of 3000+ runs and 250+ wickets in test cricket

After completing 3000 test runs on day 1 of the ongoing third test match between India and England, veteran all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja became only the third Indian player after legendary Kapil Dev and off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin to achieve double of 3000 runs and 250 plus wickets in test cricket.
2. Fourth spin-bowling all-rounder to achieve double of 3000 runs and 250+ wickets in test cricket:

The veteran Indian player Ravindra Jadeja also became only the fourth spin-bowling all-rounder after the Australian legend Shane Warne, New Zealand’s Daniel Vettori and Indian off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin to reach the epic landmark.
3. Ravindra Jadeja completes 500 First-Class (FC) wickets:

On day 3 of the IND vs ENG 3rd Test, Ravindra Jadeja required just one wicket to complete 500 wickets in FC cricket.
The Indian all-rounder achieved the 500-wicket landmark after dismissing English skipper Ben Stokes in the ongoing Rajkot test match. The moment got even more special as it occurred in his 125th FC match, and on his home ground.
4. Ravindra Jadeja completes 200 test wickets in India:

Star Indian spinner Ravindra Jadeja added another feat to his glorious test career. After dismissing England test skipper Ben Stokes for 41 runs in the second session of day 3, Jadeja became the fifth Indian bowler to complete 200 test wickets on home soil.
The list features – Anil Kumble (350 wickets in 115 innings), Ravichandran Ashwin (347* wickets in 112 innings), Harbhajan Singh (265 wickets in 103 innings), Kapil Dev (219 wickets in 119 innings), Ravindra Jadeja (200* wickets in 82 innings).
Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has now smashed 3005 runs and picked up 282 wickets so far in 70 test matches.
