IND vs ENG: After pulling out of the series, Virat Kohli reacts to India's win in 4th test

Virat Kohli pulled out of the entire five-match IND vs ENG test series citing personal reasons.
Virat Kohli, India batter, has praised India after they won the fourth test of the ongoing five-match series against England. The match was being played at the JSCA Stadium in Ranchi and was a see-saw encounter that enthralled the fans and experts alike.
India defeated England in the fourth test in Ranchi to seal the five-match series 3-1, thanks to an all-round performance by the team. The nicest thing about this triumph, once again, was the tenacity of the young players, as Dhruv Jurel and Shubman Gill rose to the occasion when it counted most.
India were asked to chase 192 runs on a tricky pitch in Ranchi. But openers did well for the home side. Rohit Sharma hit 52, while Yashasvi Jaiswal made 37, as the openers put on 84 runs. But then Shoaib Bashir took three quick wickets to peg India back.
India were 120 for 5, with 70-odd runs still needed and five sessions remaining in the match. It was a matter of batting brilliantly in just one session to help India win, and that’s exactly what they accomplished, leading the hosts to victory with five wickets in hand. Shubman Gill (52*) and Jurel (39*) contributed 72* runs for the sixth wicket, leading India home with five wickets in hand.
A phenomenal series win by our young team: Virat Kohli reacts to India’s 5-wicket win over England in Ranchi
Virat Kohli, who decided to skip the series due to the birth of his second child with wife Anushka Sharma, praised the efforts of the young players and the entire team. He didn’t waste much time sending his opinions to X (previously Twitter).
“YES. Phenomenal series win by our young team. Showed grit, determination and resilience,” he posted.
Following the conclusion of the four-test series, Rohit Sharma expressed his satisfaction at his team’s hard-fought victory. He praised the players for their disciplined and energetic performance, emphasizing their commitment to being there and their journey through local and domestic cricket.
The fifth and final test will be played in Dharamshala from March 7.
