India and England will play the fifth test at HPCA Stadium in Dharamshala.

India and England will take on each other at HPCA Stadium in Dharamshala for the last test in the five-match test series. India have won the Anthony de Mello Trophy and currently lead the series 3-1. India bounced back nicely after losing in Hyderabad and decimated England in the next three games. The Dharamshala test will be a great affair to watch out for in the ongoing series.

Dharmshala will be a bit cooler than the past four venues and England will be getting a feel of typical home conditions. The Himalayan state witnessed a few intense spells of showers in the past five days. The last two days have been a bit drier and it is likely that cool weather will help pacers from both sides. James Anderson will have a golden opportunity to complete the 700 test wickets milestone.

IND vs ENG, Dharamshala Weather update

The weather in Dharamshala is likely to play spoilsport in the first two days of the fifth test match. It will be much colder than expected in the morning on 7th March. There is a 60% chance of rain. Thunderstorms are also expected during the afternoon. There are high chances that the first day will be a complete washout at HPCA Stadium in Dharamshala.

The Himalayan state is also likely to witness a little snowfall as well. The higher temperature will be around 8-9’C. It is likely to remain in single digits throughout the day. The minimum will dip to 5’C in Dharamshala. Gusty winds will also make things difficult for players in Dharamshala. The weather will improve from the second as no rain is expected from Friday and the temperature is also likely to go up.

This will be a special occasion as Indian off-spinner Ravi Ashwin and English middle-order batter Jonny Bairstow will play their 100th test match. Ashwin recently completed 500 wickets in test cricket. This will be the second test match played at HPCA Stadium in Dharamshala. The first test was played in 2017 between India and Australia during Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
