New Zealand are in total control in the ongoing IND vs NZ first test match in Bengaluru.

The opening test of the three-match test series between India and New Zealand is being played at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

Day 1 of the ongoing test was called off due to continuous rain. The M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru has one of the best drainage facilities as compared to any other cricket stadiums in India, but still no play was possible on Day 1.

The first test finally kicked off on Day 2 on Thursday (October 17). Indian skipper Rohit Sharma opted to bat first on bowling-friendly conditions. Sharma’s decision to bat first was backfired as Indian batters struggled against the New Zealand pace attack.

The Asian Giants recorded their third lowest total in test cricket and were bundled out for just 46. New Zealand speedster Matt Henry picked up five wickets, whereas William O’Rourke claimed four wickets.

With New Zealand way ahead in the ongoing Bengaluru test against the Indian cricket team, let’s take a look at the weather forecast on Day 3 of the first test on October 18.
