India won the toss and opted to field first in the 3rd T20I against New Zealand.

Indian Cricket Team grabbed a fabulous victory against New Zealand in the third T20I on Sunday, January 25. The Men-in-Blue crushed the Black Caps like a walk in the park in the third consecutive game to seal the series.

The IND vs NZ 3rd T20I took place at Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati. India made two changes to their playing XI, adding Jasprit Bumrah and Ravi Bishnoi in place of Varun Chakravarthy and Arshdeep Singh. New Zealand made only one change, replacing Zakary Foulkes with Kyle Jamieson.

Suryakumar Yadav won the toss and opted to bowl first. The decision worked well as the hosts did not allow the visitors to go big, halting them at 153/9 in the first innings. Like the last game, none of the Kiwi batters managed a half-century, with Glenn Phillips emerging as the highest run-scorer with 48 runs.

Jasprit Bumrah rocked the field with his three-wicket haul, along with Hardik Pandya and Ravi Bishnoi with two scalps each. Harshit Rana got one scalp.

Losing Sanju Samson for a golden duck, India suffered a big blow at the start. However, Abhishek Sharma, who grabbed a duck in the last game, starred with his magical batting show by smacking a half-century in just 14 balls – second fastest for India.

With crucial partnerships with Ishan Kishan (28) and Suryakumar Yadav (57*), he helped the team to win the match by 8 wickets and win the series within three games. Notably, many records were broken in the IND vs NZ 3rd T20I and below we look at all of them.
