The IND vs PAK game is scheduled to be played on February 15 in Colombo.

India and Pakistan are gearing up for their next encounter of T20 World Cup 2026. Both teams are placed in Group A and are scheduled to take on each other on February 15 at R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.

The encounter has already witnessed a lot of controversy as Pakistan earlier refused to play against India as a mark of protest over Bangladesh’s ouster from the tournament. However, following a meeting between Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and the International Cricket Council (ICC), the Men-in-Green agreed to play against their arch-rivals.

India and Pakistan will enter the clash on the back of two wins each in a row in T20 World Cup 2026. The Suryakumar Yadav-led side crushed USA by 29 runs in the first encounter and later defeated Namibia by 93 runs in the second game. On the other hand, the Salman Agha & Co. crushed Netherlands by three wickets in the opening game and USA by 32 runs in their next match.

Notably, the India vs Pakistan clash might be affected by rain. According to weather reports from BBC, there is 48% chance of rainfall in Colombo at 7 PM on February 15, when the IND vs PAK match will start. The chance of rain will drop to 25% till 9 PM IST. Hence, rain is highly likely to affect the match. Some reports have even suggested that the clash might get wash out as well.

Meanwhile, while India grab the top spot in Group A points table with four points, Pakistan are placed in the second spot with an equal number of points. Hence, the winner of IND vs PAK clash will also move to the top spot in the Group A points table.
