According to weather.com, the temperature in Colombo is expected to range from 31 to 23 degrees Celsius, and the sky will remain cloudy. Moreover, the humidity is expected to rise up to 79 per cent at night from 60 per cent during the day.

Rain is expected over the R. Premadasa Stadium, with projections indicating a 76% chance of rain during the day. However, the projection drops to only 13% in the evening, but the clouds are expected to cover the sky.

Meanwhile, both India and Pakistan will enter the clash high on confidence, having won their two opening games of T20 World Cup 2026 and have four points in their kitty. The winner of the next clash will almost book their spot for the Super 8 stage, meaning that the clash holds great importance for them.
