The IND vs PAK match is taking place at R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.
India and Pakistan are squaring off in the 27th match of the T20 World Cup 2026. Sri Lanka’s R. Premadasa Stadium is the venue for the clash, as Pakistan are scheduled to play all of their matches in Sri Lanka.
Both teams are placed in Group A in the 20-team tournament and have played two games each. Winning both games, India and Pakistan have four points in their pockets.
The Men-in-Green had better luck at the toss as Salman Agha won and opted to bowl first. At the toss, Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav informed that they have made two changes to their playing XI.
Sanju Samson and Arshdeep Singh were not part of India’s playing XI in the match. Both of them played in the previous game against Namibia. While Abhishek Sharma was picked over Samson in the playing XI, Kudeep replaced Arshdeep.

Notably, Arshdeep was rested as the R Premadasa Stadium has a slow and spin-friendly wicket. Hence, India added an extra spinner in the playing XI.
