India will need 58 runs more to win the second IND vs WI test on day 5.

The second test between Indian Cricket Team and West Indies Cricket Team was expected to end on day four, but it wasn’t the case as the visitors came up with a sensational batting effort in the second innings. John Campbell (87) and Shai Hope (66) resumed the West Indies’ on day 4 at 173/2.

The duo stole the limelight with their terrific batting and hammered centuries to help the West Indies take a lead. Justin Greaves (50) scored an unbeaten half-century and the visitors ended up with 390/10. For India, Kuldeep Yadav and Jasprit Bumrah clinched three-wicket hauls

The fabulous fightback by the West Indies batters forced India to bat again and chase 121 runs. However, with one more day left in the game, the Shubman Gill & Co. are highly likely to win the encounter and seal the series 2-0.

India lost Yashasvi Jaiswal, who scored century in the first innings, early in the chase. But KL Rahul (25*) and Sai Sudharsan (30*) steadied the ship and fifty-plus partnership to end the day on a high. At the stumps on day 4, India were 63/1. The home team need 58 more runs for victory and are expected to capture consecutive victories in the series.

With India needing only 58 runs to win, the game will most probably finish in the first session itself.
