BCCI announces India's 2026-27 home fixtures; Know full schedule, venues & more

India are set to host Australia for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy in January-February 2027.
Team India made history and won the recently concluded T20 World Cup 2026. Now, the Indian players are all set to feature in the 19th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2026), which will start on March 28.
After the conclusion of IPL 2026, Indian players will once again gear up for international duties. On Thursday, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the 2026-27 complete home fixtures for Team India.
The Men in Blue are ready to host West Indies, Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe, and Australia in the 2026-27 season across all three formats. This home season includes 22 international matches across three formats, which will be played at 17 different venues in India.
BCCI announces a blockbuster home season for India in 2026-27

The IPL 2026 is likely to end on May 31, and after that, India will tour Afghanistan (one-off test & 3 ODIs), Ireland (2 T20Is), and England (5 T20Is & 3 ODIs). Meanwhile, the upcoming home season will begin in September when the West Indies will tour India for three ODIs and five T20Is.
This tour will have 8 white-ball matches between 27 September and 17 October. It will be followed by six white-ball home matches (3 ODIs and 3 T20Is) against Sri Lanka in December.
Zimbabwe are set to tour India for three ODIs in January. This will be Zimbabwe’s first ODI tour of India since 2001-02.

It will be followed by a blockbuster chapter in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, when Australia will tour India for five Tests, starting on January 21 in Nagpur. The other four tests will be held in Chennai, Guwahati, Ranchi, and Ahmedabad, respectively.
Team India lost the last BGT series in Australia, and now they have a chance to retain the trophy. This series is also important to stay in the race for the World Test Championship 2025-27 final.
The ICC Cricket World Cup 2027 is the next big event for India. The BCCI has made sure that India play enough 50-over matches to get ready for the mega event. It will also give the fans a chance to watch more of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, who are only active in ODIs.
