India to boycott semi-final clash against Pakistan in the WCL 2025- Reports

India Champions vs Pakistan Champions semi-final 1 is scheduled to be played on July 31.
India Champions and Pakistan Champions are scheduled to clash in the semi-final 1 match of the World Championship of Legend (WCL) 2025. However, according to reports by Sports Today, it is learned that Indian players are set to boycott the match.
Notably, Indian players also pulled out of the group stage clash against Pakistan Champions earlier. Players in Yuvraj Singh, Suresh Raina, Shikhar Dhawan, Harbhajan Singh, Yusuf Pathan, and Irfan Pathan had refused to play against Pakistan Champions. As a result, the organisers had to call off the match.
The semi-final one of the WCL 2025 is scheduled to be played on July 31 at Edgbaston, Birmingham. Australia Champions are scheduled to clash with South Africa Champions in the other semi-final.
India Champions defeated West Indies Champions to reach semi-finals in WCL 2025
India Champions booked a berth in the semi-final by defeating the West Indies Champions in their last match of the group stage. India Champions had to chase down a 145-run target in the encounter within 14 overs to leapfrog England Champions in the points table on Net Run Rate (NRR).
Stuart Binny, Yuvraj Singh, and Yusuf Pathan helped India Champions to win the match in 13.2 overs by five wickets. With one victory, three defeats, and one no result match, India Champions finished in the fourth spot in the points table.

On the other hand, Pakistan Champions topped the points table with nine points. Out of five games, they won four matches, while one encounter ended with no result. Meanwhile, if India Champions pulls out of the semi-final match, Pakistan Champions will qualify for the final of the WCL 2025.
