India will take on New Zealand in the T20 World Cup 2026 final on March 8.

Indian Cricket Team are just one step away from winning the trophy in T20 World Cup 2026. The Suryakumar Yadav & Co. will clash with New Zealand in the summit clash on March 8 at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

Both nations have booked a berth in an ICC final for the second consecutive time. Last year in March, they clashed in the Champions Trophy in Dubai, where India outplayed New Zealand by four wickets.

Notably, India aim for their third title in T20 World Cup history, having previously won in the inaugural edition in 2007 and the last edition in 2024. The Black Caps have never won a T20 World Cup in the past and would want to end the drought.

Moreover, this is the 15th time India have made it to the final of an ICC tournament across formats. Below is India’s complete record in ICC finals over the years.
