India's tour of West Indies 2023 will begin on 12th July and will end on 13th August.

With a little change in method and experimenting with young faces, India are set to begin their campaign for the World Test Championship 2023-25 cycle. The Indian cricket team is currently in the West Indies for a month-long tour. This will be West Indies' first international series after their poor show in the recently concluded World Cup qualifiers.

Windies have failed to qualify for the major ICC event in India. India will also be coming back after the WTC Final loss against Australia. There was a talk about change in leadership after India’s WTC Final debacle against Australia, but the board has decided to stick with Rohit Sharma. India announced their squad for the entire tour, while West indies have so far announced squad for the first test only and soon they will be meeting to pick a squad for the white-ball leg.

India will play 2 tests, 3 ODIs, and 5 T20Is in the one-month-long tour. The first test between India and West Indies will begin on 12th July with the resumption of the World Test Championship 2023-25 at Windsor Park in Dominica. The second test will be hosted by Queen Park Oval in Trinidad and Tobago starting on 20th July.

After the test series, both teams will take on each other in 3 ODIs. Two out of three ODIs will be hosted by Kensington Oval in Barbados, while the last ODI will be hosted by Brian Lara Academy in Trinidad. The ODI series will be held from 27th July to 1st August. Later on, both the teams will be playing a 5-match T20I series with 3 games set to be played in Caribbean islands, while the two in Lauderhill USA.
