India vs Pakistan Cricket World Cup 2023 match is scheduled to take place on 15th October in Ahmedabad.

The 2023 ODI World Cup is scheduled to take place in India between October and November. Ten teams will take part in it to become the World champions. It will start with a rematch between last edition's finalists, England and New Zealand on October 5 at the Narendra Modi Stadium. India will start their World Cup campaign on October 8 with a game against five-time champions Australia at Chepauk Stadium in Chennai.

Meanwhile, the high-profile clash between arch-rivals India and Pakistan is scheduled to take place on October 15 (Sunday) at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahemdabad. After the schedule was announced, fans started booking hotels and every property that could be rented for a day, including hospital beds, to witness the mega clash live from the stadium. It also saw a huge surge in airline flights to Ahmedabad from various locations around that date.

However, for all those who have booked hotel and flight tickets in and to Ahmedabad, there is really bad news coming up. As per some media reports, the game between India and Pakistan on October 15, which is scheduled to take place in Ahmedabad, is likely to be shifted to another location. This is going to happen due to security reasons. Notably, the match will take place on the first day of Navratri.

This festival is celebrated with gaiety across Gujarat, even in Ahmedabad. As a result, the security agencies have suggested the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to shift IND-PAK game to another location. A BCCI source told PTI, "We are mulling the options that we have and a decision in this regard will be taken soon. We have been told by the security agencies that a high-profile game like India vs Pakistan, for which thousands of traveling fans are expected to reach Ahmedabad, should be avoided since they will be stretched because of Navratri."

However, most hotels have been booked in anticipation of the mega clash. Even some reports claimed that fans are booking hospital beds to somehow stay there to watch this mouthwatering contest.
