India vs Pakistan clash in ICC T20 World Cup 2024 is all set to take place in New York – Report
This will be the first time that the USA will host an ICC tournament, and it will help to promote this sport in this country. Hence, as per some reports, the International Cricket Council (ICC) has decided to keep all the games for Team India in the USA, and the mega clash between the two arch rivals is likely to take place in New York.
According to a report from RevSportz, it has been learned that the India vs Pakistan clash in the ICC T20 World Cup is likely to be scheduled for June 8 (Saturday) or 9 (Sunday) 2024. However, the preference was for June 9 due to the time zone between the US and the subcontinent. It means if the game is a night match, then it will be broadcast early in the morning in the subcontinent.
However, the scheduling of all the Indian matches in USA is to push this sport among the locals, which will also help to promote it ahead of the 2028 Olympics. The complete schedule of the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 is likely to be announced in the coming week. Ireland are the one team that are expected to be part of the group that has India and Pakistan.
