Indian Cricket Team warm-up fixtures for ICC Cricket World Cup 2023

India will play a bilateral series against Australia ahead of ICC Cricket World Cup 2023.
The International Cricket Council (ICC) announced the final schedule of the World Cup warm-up games. A total of 10 warm-up games will be played in the tournament across three venues in India. Guwahati’s Barsapara Stadium, Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, and Trivandrum’s Greenfield Cricket Stadium will host warm-up games. Warm-up games will begin on September 29, while India’s first warm-up game will be played on September 30 at Barsapara Stadium in Guwahati. India will be playing their final bilateral ODI game against Australia on September 27th, and then they will enter the World Cup right after a day’s gap.
India’s World Cup Warm-up games
Guwahati and Trivandrum were lucky enough to get India’s warm-up games. India will be playing their first warm-up game on September 30 against England at Barsapara Stadium in Guwahati. And then, after a two-day gap, they will be taking on the Netherlands at Greenfield Stadium in Trivandrum. India’s opening World Cup clash is scheduled to be played at Chepauk on October 8 against Australia. All the warm-up games will begin at 2 PM. Dew might have an impact with a late start in the afternoon games.
The tickets sale is about to go live later this week, and fans will be able to buy tickets online on ‘BookMyShow’. India’s warm-up game tickets will go on sale on August 30 from 8 p.m. onward. Before this, India will be taking part in the Asia Cup 2023 in Sri Lanka, and then they will take on Australia in a short three-match ODI series starting on September 22nd to September 27th. The selectors have yet to take a call on the final squad for the World Cup. They will meet on September 5 to pick India’s best 15 men for the mega event.
