The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) made an official announcement that Indian team would pay tribute to Bishan Singh Bedi by wearing black armbands during their match against England. This touching tribute reflects the deep respect and admiration Indian cricket team have for Bedi, who not only excelled as a cricketer but also contributed significantly to the sport.
BCCI tweeted, "#TeamIndia will be wearing Black Armbands in memory of the legendary Bishan Singh Bedi before the start of play against England in the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2023."
