Top 6 India women's cricketers with most centuries (100) in WODI cricket
Reshma Gandhi was the first India women’s cricketer to score a century in WODI cricket.
India’s women’s cricket team made their debut in the women’s ODIs in 1978. While the Women In Blue have not won the Women’s ODI World Cup title yet, they have produced a few extra-ordinarily talented batters in this format.
Reshma Gandhi was the first Indian women’s cricketer to score a century in WODI cricket, a feat she achieved in 1999. After Gandhi, 10 more Indian women registered WODI centuries, and six of them did it on multiple occasions.
In this article, we will talk about the top six Indian women to register the most WODI centuries.

6. Jaya Sharma – 2
Former India opener Jaya Sharma retired with two centuries in WODI cricket. She played 77 games between 2002 and 2008 and scored 2091 runs at an average of 30.75.
Jaya recorded WODI centuries against Pakistan and Australia. She holds the record for the third-highest score (138*) by an Indian in WODIs.
5. Thirush Kamini – 2
Former opener Thirush Kamini was one of the few Indian women’s cricketers who made centuries in both women’s tests and WODIs. The left-hander played for India between 2006 and 2017 and featured in 39 WODIs
She scored 825 runs at an average of 25.78 with two centuries and three half-centuries. Kamini hit centuries against West Indies and Ireland.
4. Punam Raut – 3
Punam Raut is one of the three Indian women’s cricketers to score two or more WODI centuries in a calendar year. Raut played 73 WODIs between 2009 and 2021.
She scored 2299 runs at an average of 34.83 with three hundreds, two of those centuries came in 2017, when she averaged 59 across the year. Her three WODI tons came against Ireland, Australia and South Africa.
3. Harmanpreet Kaur – 6
Harmanpreet Kaur is one of the biggest names in Indian women’s cricket. Kaur is the only Indian women’s cricketer to score multiple WODI centuries in a calendar year twice.
Kaur made her WODI debut in 2009 against Pakistan. She has so far played 138 games and scored 3715 runs at an average of 37.52 with six centuries.
Kaur has smacked WODI centuries against England (twice), Bangladesh, Australia, West Indies and South Africa.
2. Mithali Raj – 7
Mithali Raj retired with one of the most celebrated cricket careers in women’s cricket. She is one of two Indian women’s cricketers to score a century on debut in WODI cricket.
Mithali holds a spate of records in women’s cricket, including most runs, longest career in WODIs, most half-centuries in consecutive innings in WODIs, and many more.
Mithali played 232 WODIs and scored 7805 runs at an average of 50.68 with seven hundreds. Apart from seven centuries, she also had five scores in the nineties.
1. Smriti Mandhana – 9
Smriti Mandhana has hit the most centuries (9) by an Indian women’s batter in WODIs. Mandhana is one of the best modern-day openers in women’s cricket. She has been a run-machine for India in 50-over cricket and is a beast especially when chasing.
Since making her WODI debut in 2014, Smriti has played 91 games and scored 3812 runs at an average of 44.84 with nine centuries.
