India women's cricket team to host England and Australia for 2 tests, 6 T20Is and 3 ODIs
India women's cricket team vs England Test will be the first women's Test to be played in India since 2014.
The schedule for India women's cricket team’s next home series against England and Australia has been released by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). The India A team will welcome England A for three T20 games at Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium in what is likely to be a spectacular home season.
The Indian women’s cricket team will play a total of 2 Tests, 6 T20Is, and 3 ODIs against two of the best teams in the world of women’s cricket.
India women's cricket team will first host England, who will play three T20Is and a four-day Test match in Mumbai this December, touring India for the first time since 2019. All three T20Is will be played under the lights at the iconic Wankhede Stadium before the two teams clash in a four-day Test at DY Patil Stadium.
England will travel to Oman under the captaincy of Heather Knight before the T20I series begins in Wankhede Stadium. England Women A will also prepare in Oman before three T20I fixtures against India A.
The red-ball fixture against England will be the first women's Test in India since 2014 when the hosts beat South Africa
Australia women to tour India in December 2023-January 2024
After facing England, Indian women's cricket team will answer the challenge of the Australian women’s team. Australia are set to tour India in late December for a multi-format women's series comprising a Test, three ODIs, and three T20Is.
The one-off women's Test and three ODIs will be played at Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium, while the T20Is will be played in Navi Mumbai's DY Patil Stadium. The One-Day Internationals will not be included in the ICC Women's Championship.
All T20Is - against England as well as Australia - are night fixtures starting 7 pm IST while the ODIs are day-night matches starting at 1.30 pm IST.
The twin series against the women's Ashes rivals will be India women's cricket team's first under new head coach Amol Muzumdar.
