India will face Bangladesh in 6th match of the Super Four in the Asia Cup 2023 on Friday.

The last few games in super four of Asia Cup 2023 have been dominated by Indian team. They beat the two finalists of the last edition in 2022. As a result, India have successfully qualified for the finals of the tournament. Now, it is time to wait for the second finalist between Pakistan and Sri Lanka.

Meanwhile, India will face Bangladesh in their last group match. That game will be played on September 15 (Friday) at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. Bangladesh have already been knocked out of the competition and have nothing much to lose. But India will look to win the game and enter the finals with momentum on their side. Here, we will talk about the predicted playing XI for India.

IND vs BAN: India's Predicted Playing XI vs Bangladesh

1. Rohit Sharma (C) :

Indian captain, Rohit Sharma, has been in tremendous form. Apart from the first game, he has scored fifty in every match. That is why he is currently the highest runs-scorer in the tournament with 194 runs. Rohit will look to continue what he is doing and put Bangladesh under pressure from the start.

2. Shubman Gill:

Shubman Gill is another Indian batter who has played well so far. He has scored 154 runs in four innings at an average of 51.33 and a strike rate of 90.05, with two half-centuries. He will look to carry on his form and continue scoring at the top of the order. Gill can play a brilliant anchor role and can change gears when required.

3. Virat Kohli:

Virat Kohli scoring centuries, that's what every fan wants from him. He played probably the best innings of the tournament against Pakistan when he smashed his 47th ODI ton. But against Sri Lanka, he got a good ball and got out cheaply. However, with the World Cup coming up, he will look to score as many runs as possible to stay in form.

4. Shreyas Iyer:

Shreyas Iyer missed the last two matches for India due to a back spasm, but now he is back and has joined the team. He has also started batting practice, which is a good sign for India. Though KL Rahul has done a tremendous job in the last two games, with India already in the finals, India might replace Rahul with Iyer. He also needs some game time before the World Cup starts.

5. Ishan Kishan (Wk):

Ishan Kishan has been on a decent run so far in ODIs this year. He has scored four half-centuries in the last five innings he has played; that tells the whole story. The left-hander played an impactful knock against Paksitan in the opening game and made the No. 5 position for him. He looked a bit struggling in the last game but scored 33 valuable runs.

6. Hardik Pandya:

Hardik Pandya has been pretty impressive this tournament with both the bat and the ball. He has scored runs when required and also picked up crucial wickets. His ball to Babar Azam could be the ball of the tournament. The all-rounder will look to make more impact, and that's what the team wants from him. He can be the game-changer against Bangladesh.

7. Ravindra Jadeja:

Ravindra Jadeja, the batsman, hasn't come out in this tournament so far. But Jadeja, the bowler, has come out well. Jadeja has taken five wickets in three innings at an average of 19.80, and that is more important in turning tracks in Colombo. He restricts the batter and doesn't let them score quickly, which puts pressure on the opposition.

8. Axar Patel:

Though Axar Patel didn't do well against Sri Lanka and ended wicketless, his crucial 26 runs with the bat made a big difference. That helped India reach the 210-runs mark, which proved a winning total. With another turning pitch, India will go with three spinners, and Axar will get a game. But this time, he will look to make the most of it and add value with the ball as well.

9. Jasprit Bumrah:

Jasprit Bumrah has been the bowler that has troubled the batters in this tournament, and that is what is expected from him. The ace pacer will be the biggest threat for Bangladesh because he is the best at what he does. Bumrah's opening spell can make a big difference, as he can pick up a few wickets early on and put pressure on

10. Kuldeep Yadav:

Kuldeep Yadav has been an unplayable bowler at times in this tournament. Despite not picking up a single wicket in his first two outings, he has taken nine wickets in the last two games and is the joint-highest wicket-taker at the moment. He will look to continue his form and add more wickets to his tally.

11. Mohammed Siraj:

Mohammed Siraj has shared the new ball with Bumrah and has done pretty well. He has taken four wickets so far and has been a difficult bowler to face for the batters. Siraj has done a good job so far, and India wants him to continue. He is an aggressive bowler and will be up against the Bangladesh batters on Friday.
