Indian Cricket Team jersey for Asia Cup 2025 unveiled; Team to play without lead sponsor

Indian Cricket Team are part of Group A in Asia Cup 2025.

Indian Cricket Team are gearing up for Asia Cup 2025, which will begin on September 9 in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Days ahead of the tournament, India’s jersey has been unveiled. The Men in Blue will play without a lead sponsor in the tournament.

Recently, Dream11 pulled out as the lead sponsor of Indian Cricket Team following the introduction of Online Gaming Bill 2025 Online Gaming Act 2025 by the Government of India, which now prohibits online money games and defines punishment for offering and advertising them.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has already started looking for a new lead sponsor of the Indian Cricket Team.

India, who are part of Group A in Asia Cup 2025, will play their opening game against the UAE on September 10 in Dubai, a day after the tournament kicks off with a match between Afghanistan and Hong Kong on September 9.

Although the BCCI hasn’t unveiled the jersey for the eight-team continental tournament, all-rounder Shivam Dube, who is part of India squad for the tournament, shared a photo of himself on Instagram in the new Indian jersey.

The jersey has the same design which was used during India’s last T20I series against England earlier this year. The only change in the logo is non-presence of Dream11 on the front. The jersey also contains logo of Asia Cup 2025 and the BCCI logo.

Meanwhile, Indian team is currently busy in Dubai in their training sessions for the tournament. Suryakumar Yadav will lead the Men in Blue in Asia Cup 2025. During the group stage, India will lock horns with UAE, Pakistan, and Oman.

Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, and Hong Kong are placed in Group B in the tournament. Dubai and Abu Dhabi are the two venues for the tournament, which will witness the final on September 28.
