Indian cricket team will take on Pakistan on October 14 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

The Indian cricket team arrived in Ahmedabad ahead of the mouthwatering clash against arch-rivals Pakistan. Both the sides will clash at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on October 14. India will go into the match on the back of two consecutive wins. The hosts beat Australia in a comprehensive manner before punishing Afghanistan in Delhi. KL Rahul and Virat Kohli were brilliant with the bat against Australia while Rohit Sharma ruled the roost against the Afghan bowlers.

Ahead of the high-voltage clash on Saturday, Indian team reached Ahmedabad and were received in a good manner at the team hotel. BCCI on X (formerly twitter) shared the video of team reaching the team hotel. BCCI posted, "We are here in Ahmedabad! 👋 #CWC23 | #TeamIndia | #INDvPAK | #MeninBlue."

The Pakistan camp will be bolstered by the red-hot form of Mohammed Rizwan, who hit a hundred in the record chase of 344 against Sri Lanka at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on Tuesday. Rizwan made 131 while Abdullah Shafique slammed 113 to chase down the total with 10 balls to spare.

There have been reports of alleged threat involving the Indo-Pak match in Ahmedabad. Gujarat Cricket Association (GCA) President Dhanraj Nathwani stated that they are all prepared for hosting one of the most important tournaments.

"At Gujarat Cricket Association (GCA) we are all prepared for hosting one of the most important matches of the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup to be played on October 14, 2023, between India and Pakistan at the Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium, the World's largest cricket stadium. All the preparations are in place for the match as per the standards set by the International Cricket Council (ICC), with the support of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). We at GCA are very proud to host such an important match along with the opening game and the final match of the World Cup and are thankful to the BCCI for the same," Dhanraj Nathwani's statement read.

India have always had an upper hand against Pakistan in the history of 50-over World Cup. Opener Shubman Gill, who is having a bout with dengue, has joined the side and was seen having a hit at the nets in a bid to get fit ahead of the clash against Pakistan.
