Sachin Tendulkar holds the record for winning most Man of the Match awards in test cricket among Indians.

The Indian cricket team is one of the most successful teams in the game of cricket. Their records across formats are pretty good. Especially in test cricket, they have produced some of the biggest names. India have given many match-winners to this game who have single-handedly won a number of games.

Similarly, here we will talk about some of the players who have won the most Man of the Match (MoTM) awards in test cricket for India. When it comes to match-winners in test cricket, some names come to mind. So this list will feature some top performers for the Indian team in the longest format.

Ravi Ashwin is arguably one of the best off-spinners that this game has seen in its history. He has achieved a lot of success in this format, and his name is among the best in the business. Ashwin has won nine MOTM awards in his test career so far. Interestingly, he has won ten Man of the Series awards in test cricket, which is the second-most in history.

Ravindra Jadeja is probably the most impactful player in the Indian test side at the moment. Be it batting, bowling, or fielding, he is always making an impact with his performance, which is one of the main factors in winning the Man of the Match award. Famously known as ‘Jumbo,’ Kumble was the second-fastest to 600 wickets and took 619 wickets in his career of 133 matches. He won 10 MOTM awards in his test career.

Virat Kohli had a period when he was unmatchable in test cricket. His numbers in white-ball formats are incredible, but between 2016 and 2019, he struck seven double centuries in tests. He is still one of India’s biggest match-winners, and a lot depends on his performance in test cricket. So far, Virat has won 10 MOTM awards in his test cricket career and there are many more to come.

Rahul Dravid was ahead of Sachin Tendulkar in some aspects of the longest cricket, which is why he was known as “The Wall.” Dravid played many incredible innings throughout his test career, which won matches and also saved India from defeats, which is why he is one of the best test batters ever produced. India are yet to find his replacement. Dravid played 164 test games, scored 13288 runs with 36 centuries, and retired with 11 MOTM awards.

In test cricket, Sachin played 200 tests, scored 15921 runs with 51 centuries, and won 14 MOTM awards.
