Bangladesh are hosting Pakistan for a two-match test series. The BAN vs PAK test series is part of ICC World Test Championship (WTC) 2025-27.

The 1st test of the series got underway on May 8 at Shere Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka. Pakistan, led by Shan Masood, won the toss and opted to bowl first in the clash

Pakistan pacer Mohammad Abbas clinched a five-wicket haul while Shaheen Afridi picked three wickets; however, they could not restrict Bangladesh from reaching a mammoth total.

On day 2, Pakistan made a brilliant start in the second innings with an opening stand of 106 runs by Azam Awais and Imam-ul-Haq. A goof-up by the production team on Day 2 caught the eye of many viewers, which saw many fans as a humiliating Pakistan team.
