Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) will be looking to bounce back from their disappointing IPL 2023 campaign as they aim for a strong start in IPL 2024, which is set to start from 22nd March, 2024. Their first match is scheduled against Sunrisers Hyderabad on 23rd March.

In IPL 2023, Kolkata Knight Riders finished seventh in the points table. KKR won six out of their 14 league games and lost eight. Some of these matches were close encounters that could have swung either way, potentially altering KKR’s position in the standings.

Their Net Run Rate (NRR) remained negative, ending at -0.239. Rinku Singh emerged as the top scorer for KKR with 474 runs in 14 matches, while Varun Chakravarthy led the bowling attack with 20 wickets in 14 matches.
