Lucknow Super Giants will play their first match of IPL 2024 against Rajasthan Royals.
Lucknow Super Giants had a fourth place finish in the IPL 2023 season. As they gear up for the upcoming IPL 2024, scheduled to commence on 22nd March 2024, the team will aim to build on their achievements and strive for an even stronger start to the tournament. Their first match is scheduled against Rajasthan Royals on 24th March.
Lucknow Super Giants reached the Playoffs in IPL 2023
In the league stage, Lucknow Super Giants secured the third position in the points table, amassing a total of 17 points throughout their campaign. Out of their 14 league games, they emerged victorious in eight matches and experienced defeat in five matches. Additionally, one of their matches was canceled due to rain.
However, in the playoffs, Lucknow Super Giants faced a setback as they lost the Eliminator match against Mumbai Indians. Overall, they played 15 matches, winning eight, losing six, with one match washed out due to rain. Marcus Stoinis emerged as their top scorer with 408 runs in 15 matches, while Ravi Bishnoi stood out as the top wicket-taker with 16 wickets in 15 matches.
