Ayush Mhatre is the third-highest run-scorer for CSK in IPL 2025
Chennai Super Kings (CSK) are locking horns with Gujarat Titans (GT) in the match No. 67 of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. The GT vs CSK clash is taking place at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. CSK skipper MS Dhoni won the toss and opted to bat first in the match.
Notably, this is the last match of the Chennai Super Kings in IPL 2025. They are already out of the playoffs. Gujarat Titans, on the other hand, have qualified for the playoffs. They are facing CSK in their last match of the league stage and a victory will confirm the top spot for them in the points standings.
Ayush Mhatre and Devon Conway opened the innings for CSK. Mhatre, who made his debut in the ongoing IPL 2025, executed an explosive attack from the start itself. He slammed 28 runs in the 2nd over to take his team off to a flying start.

Ayush Mhatre later got out for 34 runs off 17 balls. He became a victim of pacer Prasidh Krishna. The youngster is the third-highest run-scorer for CSK in IPL 2025. The right-handed batter ended the league with 240 runs in seven games at a strike rate of 188.97. He has also slammed one half-century in the season.
Meanwhile, CSK continue to languish at the bottom with just six points. They have won just three games and lost 10 out of 13 games so far. Even if they win against GT in the ongoing clash, they will finish in the last spot in the points table.
