Four batsmen have slammed centuries in IPL 2025 so far.

Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 observed 57 exciting games before its suspension on Friday, May 9. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) suspended the league for a week due to security issues inside the country in the aftermath of Operation Sindoor by Indian Armed Forces.

IPL 2025 witnessed many high-scoring games where teams often crossed the 200-mark on the scoreboard. Also, some teams chased down the above 200-run targets with ease. For instance, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) chased down a 246-run target against Punjab Kings (PBKS) this season to set the record for the second-highest successful run-chase ever in the IPL history.

SRH also set the record for the second-highest team total in the IPL history with their 286/6 against Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the second game of IPL 2025. Many batters also grabbed a lot of limelight with their outstanding batting performances. Four batsmen have already slammed centuries this season.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) stalwart Virat Kohli has scored the most (7) half-centuries so far. Moreover, five batsmen have five fifties in their kitties. In this listicle, let’s look at top five highest individual scores so far in IPL 2025.

5. Shreyas Iyer (PBKS)- 97* vs GT

PBKS skipper Shreyas Iyer was one of the in-form batters in IPL 2025. During the fifth match of the season between Gujarat Titans (GT) and PBKS, the right-handed batsman slammed an unbeaten 97 runs off 42 balls.

Batting at a strike rate of 230.95, he powered the team’s scoreboard to a mammoth 243/5 in first innings. Later, the Kings restricted GT to 232/5 in the second innings to win the clash by 11 runs.

4. Vaibhav Suryavanshi (RR)- 101 vs GT

RR’s young addition Vaibhav Suryavanshi grabbed the spotlight in IPL 2025 after becoming the youngest ever player to feature in the tournament. Later, the 14-year-old also became the youngest ever batsman to smack a century in the IPL history.

In the 47th match between RR and GT, the left-handed batsman scored 101 runs off just 38 deliveries. Smacking seven fours and 11 sixes, the RR opener helped his team to snatch victory by eight wickets while chasing 210 against the visitors.

3. Priyansh Arya (PBKS)- 103 vs CSK

PBKS opener Priyansh Arya made his debut this season and became a regular opener for the side with his consistent performances. The left-handed batsman slammed a century against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the 22nd match of IPL 2025.

Arya mustered 103 runs off 42 balls with nine sixes to drive PBKS to 219/6 in the first innings. Later, the Shreyas Iyer & Co. also won the match by 18 runs as CSK could only reach 201/5 in the second innings.

2. Ishan Kishan (SRH)- 106* vs RR

Ishan Kishan, who joined SRH in IPL 2025, struggled to score consistently this season. However, the left-handed batsman commenced the season with a bang. Kishan shattered an unbeaten century in the second match of the tournament between SRH and RR.

With his unbeaten 106 off just 47 deliveries, he powered SRH to a mammoth 286/6 in the first innings. Kishan stormed 11 boundaries and six maximums during his innings. Later, the Pat Cummins & Co. won the match by 44 runs.

1. Abhishek Sharma (SRH)- 141 vs PBKS

SRH’s young star Abhishek Sharma slammed the most impeccable knock in IPL 2025; which will be remembered for years to come. During the 27th match of the season, Sunrisers had to chase down a gigantic 246-run target against PBKS.

Sharma roared like a lion at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium during the chase and hammered a knock of 141 runs off just 55 balls. His score of 141 is also the highest individual score by an Indian batter and third-highest individual score in the tournament history. While chasing 246, SRH won the game by eight wickets in the 19th over itself. Sharma scripted multiple records in the game with his incredible performance.
