IPL 2025: Kolkata Knight Riders full schedule

Kolkata Knight Riders won the IPL 2024.

Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 will begin on March 22, with defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) facing Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the first match of the season in Kolkata. The playoffs stage will start on May 20, with the final scheduled for May 25 in Kolkata.

KKR will enter the season as defending champions. They dominated IPL 2024, finishing as table-toppers in the league stage and then defeating Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) comfortably in both Qualifier 1 and the final.

Just like the last season, KKR will play seven games at their home ground, Eden Gardens in Kolkata.

The defending champions will face RCB, Chennai Super Kings (CSK), Rajasthan Royals (RR), Punjab Kings (PBKS), and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) twice in the season, while they’ll face Gujarat Titans (GT), Mumbai Indians (MI), Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), and Delhi Capitals (DC) once in the season.

KKR will face MI and DC in only away games (once each).
