IPL 2025 mega auction to be a two-day event in November.
The IPL 2025 mega auction venue and dates have been confirmed on November 5, 2024. The mega event will be held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and will be a two-day event on November 24 and 25. This will result in a clash with the third and fourth days of the first test between India and Australia in Perth.
The auction was originally slated to take place in Riyadh, but due to a last-minute site change, Abady Al Johar Arena will now hold the two-day auction.
Disney Star, which owns the broadcast rights for both the IPL and the India-Australia test series, wanted to prevent any direct overlap between the two events. Fortunately, because to the time difference with Australia, the auction, scheduled for the afternoon (IST), will not coincide with the match broadcast.
