IPL 2025 mega auction: List of all England cricketers shortlisted

The IPL 2025 mega auction will take place on November 24 and 25.
A total of 577 players will go under the hammer in the two-day Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 mega auction event, which will take place in Saudi Arabia on November 25 and 25. The auction is being held outside India for the second consecutive time – last year, Dubai hosted the mini-auction.
Over 1500 players had registered themselves initially and then the list has been pruned down to 577 players. Out of these, 367 are Indians and 210 overseas.
A total of 38 England players have been shortlisted for the IPL 2025 mega auction. They will be vying for the 70 overseas slots that are available among all 10 franchises combined for the overseas players.
Fast bowler Jofra Archer is a late entry into the shortlisted players’ list. Archer was part of the initial 1574-player list, but then was absent from the shortlisted players’ tally. However, he’s now been added to the shortlist after discussions of his representatives with the ECB and the BCCI.
Among the biggest English names in the mega auction are their white-ball captain Jos Buttler, all-rounders Liam Livingstone, Sam Curran and Moeen Ali, and opener Phil Salt. Harry Brook and Jacob Bethell are middle-order batters who could bag a hefty paycheck at the mega auction.
