How much will Musheer Khan earn from Punjab Kings in IPL 2025?

Musheer Khan was bought by Punjab Kings at IPL 2025 mega auction.

Indian all-rounder Musheer Khan has emerged as one of the most promising young talents in Indian cricket. A right-handed batsman and a capable all-rounder, he made his First-Class (FC) cricket debut for Mumbai in the 2022–23 Ranji Trophy at the age of just 17 years.

Musheer played a crucial role for India in the 2024 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup, scoring two centuries and helping the team reach the final. In March 2024, he etched his name in history by breaking Sachin Tendulkar’s record to become the youngest Mumbai batter to score a hundred in a Ranji Trophy final.

Punjab Kings buy Musheer Khan for INR 30 lakhs

Musheer will play for the Punjab Kings (PBKS) in the next Indian Premier League (IPL) season. He was acquired by the franchise for INR 30 lakhs during the mega auction. The youngster will share the dressing room with big names like Glenn Maxwell, Shreyas Iyer and Marcus Stoinis.

Having groomed youngsters like Shreyas Iyer and Rishabh Pant before, Ricky Ponting will be keen to work with the talented all-rounder.
