Umran Malik has taken 29 wickets in his IPL career so far.
Indian pacer Umran Malik has quickly made a name for himself as one of the fastest bowlers in world cricket. Malik made his international debut in 2022 against New Zealand in Auckland. He has taken 24 wickets in 18 international games so far.

Kolkata Knight Riders buy Umran Malik for INR 75 lakhs
Speedster Umran Malik was acquired by IPL 2024 winners Kolkata Knight Riders for his base price of INR 75 lakhs at the IPL 2025 mega auction. Umran went unsold in the first round during the second day of the two-day mega auction, but was later picked by the Kolkata-based franchise at his base price during the accelerated auction process.
Umran will add depth to the KKR fast bowling reserves. The pace and bounce of the Eden Gardens pitch will suit his back-of-the-length deliveries.

Malik has taken 29 wickets in 26 matches with an economy rate of 9.4 so far in the IPL. Malik started his career with a salary of INR 20 lakhs, which was later increased to INR 4 crores in 2022 after retention.
