Gujarat Titans, Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Punjab Kings and Mumbai Indians are the four teams who have qualified for the playoffs of IPL 2025

The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 is about to reach its business end. We have got the four teams for the playoffs, but there isn’t any clarity on who will be playing in Qualifier 1 and who will be in the Eliminator.

Gujarat Titans (GT), Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), Punjab Kings (PBKS) and Mumbai Indians (MI) are the four teams who have qualified for the playoffs of IPL 2025. With three more games remaining in the league, the last two matches will give us the teams that will finish in the top two of the points table.

Ever since the IPL 2025 resumed, there has been a remarkable turnaround in the league. The points table in the top four positions has seen a drastic change, and now all four teams in Gujarat Titans (GT), Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), Punjab Kings (PBKS) and Mumbai Indians (MI) have an opportunity to finish in the top two positions.

For Mumbai Indians and Punjab Kings, the chance to finish in the top two lies in their own hands. However, only one from these two will end in the top two, and that will be decided after their match. The two teams will be clashing with each other on Monday (26th May) at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.

Punjab Kings are currently placed second on the points table with 17 points to their name, while Mumbai Indians are fourth with 16 points. The winner of the game between these teams will finish in the top two and will play Qualifier 1 of the IPL 2025, while the loser will play the Eliminator.

The other contender for the top two spots in IPL 2025 points will be depicted after the game between Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB). The match will be played at the Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow on Tuesday (27th May).

If Royal Challengers Bengaluru defeats Lucknow Super Giants then they will they will be playing the Qualifier 1. However, if the Rishabh Pant-led side wins that game, then it will be a huge boost for Gujarat Titans (GT) as they will be playing Qualifier 1.
