IPL 2025: Mumbai Indians full schedule

Mumbai Indians finished last in the IPL 2024.

The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 will begin on March 22, Saturday, with defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) facing Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata. The playoffs stage will start on May 20, with the final scheduled in Kolkata on May 25.

Mumbai Indians (MI) had a disastrous IPL 2024 campaign, where they finished at the bottom (10th) of the league stage with just eight points from 14 games. The decision to appoint Hardik Pandya as captain last season backfired as the franchise got embroiled in several controversies even before the start of the tournament.

MI will play all of their seven home games at the Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. They will begin their campaign against arch-rivals Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on Sunday, March 23, in Chennai.

They will face CSK, Gujarat Titans (GT), Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), Delhi Capitals (DC), Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) twice in the season, while they’ll face RCB, KKR, Rajasthan Royals (RR), and Punjab Kings (PBKS) once in the season.

MI will face RR and PBKS in only away games (once each).
