IPL 2025 will be played across 13 venues in India.
The 18th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) will kick off on Saturday, March 22, with defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) facing Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
The mega auction ahead of the upcoming season added extra excitement to IPL 2025, with all 10 franchises revamping their squads. While most teams focused on retaining their core, Punjab Kings (PBKS) completely rebuilt their squad.
The tournament will feature a total of 74 matches and will be played across 13 venues in India. The playoffs stage will begin on May 20, with Qualifier 1 and the Eliminator on May 20 and May 21, while Qualifier 2 and the final will take place on May 23 and May 25.
