IPL 2025: Points table, most runs, most wickets after match 14, RCB vs GT

RCB lose top spot in IPL 2025 points table after losing to GT.
Gujarat Titans (GT) showed a stunning form in match 14 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 and crushed Royal Challengers Bangaluru (RCB) by eight wickets at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru. Jos Buttler and Sai Sudharsan played a major role GT’s win.
Earlier, the Titans won the toss and opted to bowl first. RCB lost their top four batters cheaply as Phil Salt (14), Virat Kohli (7), Devdutt Padikkal (4), and Rajat Patidar (12) failed to provide a good start to the team. For GT, Mohammad Siraj grabbed two wickets in the powerplay to give a big jolt to his former team.
Later, Liam Livingstone (54), Jitesh Sharma (33), and Tim David (33) helped RCB reach a decent total of 169/8 in 20 overs. Sai Kishore picked two wickets for GT while Arshad Khan, Prasidh Krishna, and Ishant Sharma picked one wicket each.
IPL 2025: Updated points table

RCB have lost their top spot after losing the game to GT. They have dropped down to the third spot in the points table with four points in three games. On the other hand, GT are slotted fourth with four points in three games.
Punjab Kings now top the table with four points and the best NRR among all four teams with four points. Delhi Capitals are positioned second. Mumbai Indians, Lucknow Super Giants, Chennai Super Kings, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Rajasthan Royals and Kolkata Knight Riders occupy the rest of the spots with two points each.

Sai Sudharsan slammed a 49-run knock in RCB vs GT match and has climbed to the second position now. His teammate Jos Buttler, with unbeaten 73 in the game, has jumped to third spot with 166 runs. LSG’s Nicholas Pooran still leads the chart with 189 runs, while PBKS’ Shreyas Iyer and SRH’s Travis Head occupy the fourth and fifth spots.

IPL 2025: Most wickets (Purple Cap)
RCB pacer Josh Hazlewood, who picked one wicket in the match against GT, has climbed up to third spot with six wickets to his name. GT’s Sai Kishore, who scalped two wickets in the game, has entered top five and is now placed fourth with six wickets to his name. CSK’s Noor Ahmad still leads the tally with nine wickets, while DC’s Mitchell Starc follows next with eight wickets to his name. CSK’s Khaleel Ahmed completes the list of top five with six wickets.
