IPL 2025: Points table, most runs, most wickets after match 43, CSK vs SRH

SRH defeated CSK by five wickets in the 43rd match of IPL 2025.
Chennai Super Kings (CSK) hosted Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the 43rd match of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 on Friday, April 25. The encounter took place at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. SRH had a low target of 155 runs in the match. SRH defeated CSK by five wickets with impressive knocks by Ishan Kishan and Kamindu Mendis. In the process, SRH registered their first win at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai.
After being asked to bat first, CSK failed to pile up a big total on the scoreboard. They were bowled out for 154 in the 20th over. The hosts lost opener Shaik Rasheed for a duck and No.3 batter Sam Curran for nine runs. All CSK batters struggled to score with the bat except for Dewald Brewis, who slammed quick 42 runs off 25 deliveries. SRH pacer Harshal Patel captured a spectacular four-wicket haul. Pat Cummins and Jaydev Unadkat got two wickets each.
IPL 2025: Updated points table

After the CSK vs SRH, match No. 43 of IPL 2025, SRH take the eighth spot in the IPL 2025 updated points table. They have six points and Net Run Rate (NRR) of -1.103. On the other hand, CSK continue to languish at bottom of the table. They have four points and NRR of -1.302.
Gujarat Titans (GT) take the top spot with 12 points. They are followed by Delhi Capitals (DC) in the second spot with an equal number of points. Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Mumbai Indians (MI) are positioned third and fourth with 10 points each. Punjab Kings (PBKS) hold the fifth spot with an equal number of points.
IPL 2025: Most runs (Orange Cap)
No CSK or SRH players are part of the top five highest run-scorers this season. After match No. 43 of the season, Gujarat Titans’ Sai Sudharsan continues to wear the Orange Cap with 417 runs, followed by Virat Kohli in the second spot.
Nicholas Pooran and Suryakumar Yadav grab the third and fourth positions respectively. Jos Buttler and Yashasvi Jaiswal, who take the fifth and sixth spots respectively, have an equal 356 runs.

IPL 2025: Most wickets (Purple Cap)
SRH seamer Harshal Patel picked a four-wicket haul in the match and has entered the list of top five wicket-takers this season. He has jumped to fourth spot with 13 wickets in his kitty. CSK spinner Noor Ahmad, who clinched two wickets in the encounter, now takes the third spot.
DC spinner Kuldeep Yadav grabs the fifth spot with 12 wickets. Prasidh Krishna and Josh Hazlewood continue to steal the top two positions with 16 wickets each. CSK pacer Khaleel Ahmad also has 12 wickets after getting one wicket in the match.
